Meet Our Leader

Ben Rippy is a native to the Charlotte area and established Carolina Greenscapes in 2010 evolving from a small family lawn care service. He has always been passionate about the industry and through the downturn in the economy he left his position as a high end residential Kitchen and Bath Designer and followed his dream. His business model is to offer affordable yet superior maintenance and landscaping services for the residential landscape Ben has always been involved in every project and works directly with the homeowner for complete customer satisfaction.

Carolina Greenscapes is a Registered Landscape Contractor for the State of North Carolina, Members of Carolina Green Industry Network where Ben is President of the Board and Members of NC Nurseryman and Landscape Association. We continue to study new products and practices to use in the field. We are also licensed and bonded to protect our clients.

Carolina Green Industry Network

Member for 5 Years and now President. CGIN is a local group for Charlotte and surrounding communities which is comprised of Landscape companies from small to large who join monthly to discuss pressing topics, learn and network together. We also hold a large trade show each year with vendors who showcase products and services related to the industry. The Tradeshow is also a all day training seminar for individuals to learn and get needed credits for their Landscape Contractors License, Pesticide License and Arborists License.

Carolina Greenscapes strives for the highest standards. By being a licensed landscape contractor, we are required to attend regular education events keeping us up to date on proper practices and industry standards. You are required to carry a Landscape Contractors License should you work on projects of $30,000 value or higher billed in one calendar year.

NC Nursery and Landscape Association

The North Carolina Nursery & Landscape Association is a 501 (c)5 non-profit membership organization of firms interested in the welfare of North Carolina's green industry, with emphasis on the nursery and landscape industry. NCNLA's vertically-integrated membership includes growers, landscape firms and retail garden centers. Additionally, NCNLA has membership categories for industry suppliers, horticulture students and educators.
